The Wedding Feast

Eucharistic Holy Hour (with praise & worship music)
After the wedding rehearsal and dinner, the wedding party, family, friends, and brothers and sisters in community are invited to join us for a Holy Hour at the Youth Apostles Institute in McLean, VA, starting at 8:30pm. Come for some or all if you’d like as we give our praise and thanksgiving to our generous God, and pray for our vocation, and for each person’s vocation God has called or is calling them to.

We are full members in Youth Apostles and Women Youth Apostles, whose communities are focused on relational ministry with young people and bringing them to Christ. The intimate chapel of the Youth Apostles Institute is a special place to both of us because we have spent many hours in it for Mass or Adoration with our communities, together and apart throughout the years. We would be remiss not to mention that it was through Youth Apostles that God had us reunite in 2011!

The Wedding Feast, Part I: Nuptial Mass

This will be a full Roman Catholic Wedding Mass. All guests invited to the reception must be in attendance at the Nuptial Mass (we discourage people from just attending the reception). We encourage our guests to participate in what we believe is the most important part of our special day. We also kindly ask that you please refrain from taking pictures with your cameras or cell phones during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. For the proper reception of the Holy Eucharist, we ask that you please refer to these guidelines.

The Wedding Feast, Part II: Reception 

Afterwards, we will head over to the beautiful gardens of Hollin Hall for the second part of our wedding festivities! We will take our guests on a journey to Italy for a Tuscan garden wedding reception. We will have different activities for people of all ages around the grounds, and each guest will be given a map upon their arrival. Come ready to feast and feel free to bring comfortable shoes to change into as there will be lots of celebrating and fun times to be had!
